Clare Hall

CNM, PNP

Clare Hall is a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP), receiving both of these degrees from the University of Michigan. She did her nursing degree at Case Western University, and her undergrad at the University of Dayton.

Women’s health can be so unique, beautiful, and at times difficult. With a passion for giving dignity to every patient, Clare has pursued ways to uplift and advocate for women throughout her life. She grew up for a few years on a hospital campus in a small Kenyan town watching her parents work as doctors. She worked as FOCUS missionary and has done a handful of medical trips to other countries including Thailand, Uganda, Ethiopia, and Kenya.

Clare believes that a huge part of the dignity of her patients is giving them agency to make an educated decision, to walk with them, and advocate when needed. She wants women to be proud of their feminine genius and help remove feelings of shame, isolation, or fear. This dignity is universal and is what pushes Clare’s passion for international work. She is nerdy about placentas and all things physiologic birth.

Clare married her longtime best friend Derek and together they have worked to build his business as a wedding DJ and support Clare’s work as a midwife. The biggest moment of this partnership was choosing to come to Tepeyac from Michigan. At work she tries to recognize and empower spouses and partners to be participants in their roles, especially in birth.

Clare loves travel and adventure with her husband, football (Steelers!), and being an aunt and Godmother.
